Here it is, another year of Blogmas. I’ve thought a lot about whether or not to join in this year, especially after Blogtober felt so soon, but I’ve started prepping a week of gift-guides to get me started. After that, I’ll take a little think and see whether we go for it or not. It also feels very unusual to start a week-long post series on a Tuesday, but I wanted to make it all part of Blogmas, so bear with on that front.
I think we all have that one friend who’s really on top of their interiors. Whether they live with their family still but have a really impressive bottom drawer going, or if they’ve moved out and styled themselves like a successful episode of Changing Rooms, everyone’s got one on their list. Today’s Giftmas Gift Guide is for them, and giving the gift of something they can adorn their home with.
For something to hang on their wall, give this Gold Sunburst Mirror, or if you think a wooden wall hanging is more suitable, why not go with this The Stringer Edit Hanging Sign. For a more personalised wall hanging, these Personalised Home Prints are a great option and something they can cherish for the whole time they’re living in their house. For a cute kitchen addition, try this Carousel China Cup and Saucer Set, which even comes with a little stand to keep them on, and for something to use them on go with these Sass and Belle Face Coasters. If you know they’re a jewellery wearing, give them this Lisa Angel Sun and Moon Dish to store their accessories in while they’re home, or for added uniqueness, this Sun and Moon Earring Holder, also from Lisa Angel. No interior-lover’s house is complete without smells, so gift this gorgeous Wellness Incense Set from Oliver Bonas. If incense isn’t really their thing try this Aromatic Jasmine and Peony Scented Candle, or this Orange and Cinnamon Diffuser and Candle set. To add an accessory for the already candle-mad friend, give them this Stars and Moon Rotary Tea Light Holder, and of course some tea lights to go in it. I love these Handpainted Christmas Tealights. And for added bouji-effect add this Star Jar of Matches to the gift, so they can light up in style. Now onto one of my favourite interior addition – coffee table books! For the travel fan, you can’t go far wrong with this New York Times 36 Hours book. For the food and dining out lover, the Delicious Places photography book is a great choice. For photography lovers try the National Geographic Women Photography book, or – and this book is on my Christmas list this year – the Accidentally Wes Anderson book, which so far looks stunning! Or, even better, make a coffee table book of your own using the Papier Minimalist Photo Book.
