Already I can tell that this blogging is going to go well… what has it been, a month? Two months since I last blogged?
Sorry about that one 🙂 I’d love to say that it’s because I’ve been so busy doing exciting things, but unfortunately it’s just because I get distracted easily 😀
Anyway…. I thought, what better way to start a new blog than with a little introduction to the blogger…. hello! So here’s 50 things that you (probably) didn’t know about me….
1. My name is Katy
2. I’m 22 years old, but…
3. My birthday is May 9th, so only for another 3 days
4. I’m studying Events Management at uni
5. I live in Bournemouth at the moment…
6. But I’m originally from Wiltshire
7. I’ve attempted a 365 photography project for the last five years and have failed every time…. but here’s hoping for 2016 (if you want to check out my photographs they’re on my Flickr page)
8. I’m a natural blond, but I’ve been brunette, red, pink-streaked, black-cherry….
9. I’m right handed, except when I eat
10. My favourite film is Fight Club
11. My hidden talent is turning napkins into cat ears
12. I met Marina from Marina and the Diamonds, and she told me she liked my hair. It was peroxide blond at the time
13. I also met the Cheeky Girls, and they said they liked my name.
14. I have a tattoo of a swallow on my hip
15. I also have a tattoo of an arrow on my wrist
16. I have two dogs, called Charlie and Jester
17. I also have a girl-cat, called Saski
18. I’ve been stung by a wasp five times. On my face, which was fine, then on my thigh, which was fine, then on my little finger, which didn’t even really hurt, and then finally on my forearm… where my whole arm doubled in size and I couldn’t tighten my hand for a month.
19. I’m a contact lens wearer
20. I’ve never broken a bone (touches the nearest wooden object frantically)
21. I didn’t eat pizza until I was at uni
22. I can (kind of) play the piano, thanks to lessons from my Granny’s neighbor
23. My lucky number is 6
24. I’ve seen every episode of Friends
25. I can’t cook. No joke, everything I cook is just black and crispy beyond recognition
26. I am in the rowing society for the university
27. I have completed the 30 day squat challenge, and have now moved onto the 30 day ab challenge
28.I have a serious weakness for Miss Selfridge
29. I’m going to be a maid of honor for my best friend next year…. and I am so excited! And if you have any amazing hen do ideas, please please PLEASE send them my way 😉
30. I’ve been driving around in my little white corsa for 6 years this week, and despite the non-power steering, non-central locking, non-electric windows thing, I love it (plus power steering terrifies me a little bit)
31. I’m obsessed with Pinterest. Especially the comedy animal memes, those crazy cats crack me up
32.I’m a record holder! Me and a group of girls from the women crew of my rowing club rowed on an erg machine constantly for 48 hours straight, which is the longest amount of time a group of girls have rowed on a machine without stopping. And it nearly killed me
33. I’ve never eaten a boiled egg. There you go
34. On a night out I will be seen drinking Malibu….
35. And shaking my moves to the Spice Girls
36. Did I mention, it’s my birthday in three days?
37. When I was at secondary school, I used to ride a horse who was 30 years old. He was so old, that he would fall asleep when he was walking along
38. I (rather embarrassingly) have a toy dog, called doggy, who lives wherever I live. He’s older than me, his eyes and nose are falling off, and he stinks like nothing else
39. I am a fussy eater, and I usually stick to what I know
40. I’ve only been abroad 3 times; to Barcelona on a school trip, to Florence on a college trip, and then to Sardinia with my bestie
41. I love disposable cameras, especially for trips away. There’s nothing more exciting than waiting for your pics to be developed and not knowing whether you’ve got a masterpiece or a tragedy
42. I suffer from dry skin when it’s windy and have yet to find a cure, so I’m going to take this opportunity to beg you to let me know if you know any secrets
43. I have grey-blue eyes, and they’re massive
44. Geek time! I’ve completed Spyro: Year of the Dragon four times on the PS1. That’s completed it to 120%. Hangs head in shame….
45. I’m going to be celebrating my birthday in three days time…. or did I mention that one already? 😉
46. I find afternoon naps impossible to take, even if I’ve been up for hours. I’m too scared to waste the day
47. I’m petrified of snakes. I held one at Longleat, and literally thought I was going to collapse
48. I’m a nail-biter and always have been…. but I’m trying to stop, I swear
49. I didn’t learn how to tell the time until I was twelve. I don’t know why, I just couldn’t get my head around it
50. My middle name is Louise, which is the same middle name as my housemate
