Halloween has always been my favourite holiday in the year…

Don’t get me wrong, I do love Christmas. But Halloween is just something different. It’s got a lot of different takes – you can go fun-spooky, you can go scary, or you can just go for a haunted-but-cosy aesthetic. There’s a lot of options when you’re thinking about Halloween home finds.

This year I’m going to add some decor items to our home to really go with the Halloween season. Obviously we have a newborn, so I want to keep it cosy rather than terrifying – not that he’ll understand it anyway. But I’m going to add some spookily cosy decor items to our house. Mainly so that when we’re watching a movie (Hocus Pocus, I’m looking at you) we’re completely in the mood. Or coming home from an Autumn walk, and we’ve got our cosy living room to warm up in.

So, today’s Blogtober-week post is my Halloween Amazon home finds. And I think I have some great items to show you.

Cat Tealight Holder // really cute, and not at all scary.

Halloween candle set // this is a really neat little set, which would be perfect as a small Halloween gift, or if you’re after different themed candles to put around your home.

Blue Cat Planter // I love this look for Halloween – it’s very witchy themed. Plus, it’ll still look good with a plant in throughout the rest of the year.

Pink ghost cushion // a girly take on haunting.

Ghost bathmat // don’t miss out the bathroom – it’s seems a little bit extra to get a specific Halloween bathmat, but how cute would this look over the spooky season?

Velvet pumpkins // these come in a multipack, so you can spread them around your home as you wish. They’d look great on a mantelpiece, or if you’re creative perhaps you could make a garland or wreath with them.

Pumpkin garland // another pumpkin display for your fireplace, or hanging across a window. These are really fun looking and add a cutesy touch to your Halloween decor.

Dog cushion // I couldn’t resist adding this little guy to my list, he’s adorable.

Ghost Illustration // if you want to really push it with your Halloween decor, temporarily replace your framed pictures with something like this ghost print.
