September Favourites | Blogtober 2

Last month I really struggled to find enough favourites to fill up a post, but this month I’d pretty much found enough within the first week! I’m not sure if it was just luck, or if I had a particularly ‘treat-yoself’ attitude this month, but I ended up just loving a lot of things that came my way, and here they are, my favourites from September.

1. Asos watch
I’m very on and off with watches, one moment I can’t live without one, and the next minute having a watch on my arm is the most irritating thing. I had a really lovely watch a while back, with a brown strap and a map on the clock face, but it broke when I fell in the river with it on (rowing, not drinking related accidents, thank you). For work I needed to know the time, and we’re not allowed our phones on us, so I bought this watch just so I’d have one, but I love it! It’s from ASOS, and you can find it here.

2. Women’s Health magazine
I think I mentioned before, but I’ve found a new love in my magazine subscriptions. I was needing a break from my usual fashion and beauty magazines, so took a chance in buying women’s health magazine, and I love it. I’ve already bought the October and November issues since, so it’s clearly made a good impression on me.

3. Grace Coddington Memoir
Ever since I watched The September Issue, I’ve wanted to be Grace Coddington’s friend. Her day-to-day work, whether it was realistic or not, was so exciting and fast paced, so it’s interesting to read about her life before and outside of that in her book. Plus, there’s little drawing treats throughout the book by Grace herself.

4.Autumn clothes
In particular, this ‘coatigan’ from Florence and Fred at Tesco. I love this time of year, when it’s cold enough to wrap up warm, but not quite as miserable weather-wise as Winter. So I’ve started getting out the cosy coats and scarves out, and not long until the bobble hats join in as well. I love it!

5.Marshmallows
Okay, give me a month when marshmallows aren’t on my popular list – but they deserve a place on the favourites list this month, for sure! Hot chocolate should really be next to them as well, but marshmallows made it to the top this month.

6. PS4
I had a huge ‘treat yo-self’ moment at the start of this month, and bought myself a PS4. And I love it! Not just for games, but for watching films, YouTube and Netflix on as well. No regrets!

And that’s my favourites for this month. I’m (and probably most other bloggers about now) starting to think ahead to, not only Autumn, but Halloween (not to be too premature, but I tried out my first halloween look last week), and even further ahead to Christmas, and my Blogmas plans for 2017.

So watch this space,
xx
