Longleat Safari Park

On Thursday I had a day off, as did my bestie Chelsea, and her husband… and obviously their little boy. So, we all combined our days off and met at Longleat Safari Park for a animal-themed day out. I’ve been to Longleat on days out lot’s over the last couple of years, but never with Chelsea and her family, so it was a new experience again, and a really lovely day.

We started in the Adventure Park side of things, going in the bat cave and on the boat to see the Gorillas. The little animals are probably my favourite, because I’m a sucker for a cute, cuddly looking animal. We had a run around in the soft play for the little ones, and then looked around the house at all the antiques. The things I could do with a house that size!

And finally, we finished our trip with a drive around the safari park, and it’s always great going around the safari. We timed it right, we saw animals in every enclosure, they were all up and about. Giving me a chance to test out my new camera also.

Longleat really is one of my favourite places, it’s so exciting and so unique. Where else can you have a lion walk a meter away from you, make eye contact with a gorilla, and talk to a parrot?
