Glastonbury Torr

In a coincidence that hardly ever happens, my dad and I had the same day off last week, and took ourselves to Glastonbury for the afternoon. Our plan was a two-hour scenic walk up to the Torr from a newspaper clipping he had, but, classic us, we got lost, found a path, and it took us half an hour. Every cloud, right?
Glastonbury is such a characteristic little place. There’s lot’s of nooks and crannys to find hidden shops in, and lot’s of niche shops selling gems or incense, or books. It;s a very pretty little town, and the view from the top of the Torr was amazing. It was a tad too cloudy when we went, but apparently you can see Wales on a sunny day.
I’d love to go back to Glastonbury… but mainly for the festival perhaps?
A quick little update – this week I will hopefully have a few more posts lined up – it is the end of August soon, which means a monthly favourites. I also made a sweet treat this week to share with you, so watch this space! Or for post updates, follow my Instagram here.
