Happy Sunday everyone! I mentioned it before, but I’ve been so busy this week making face masks to sell in my mums shop that I’ve barely had time for anything else this week. Usually I try to get all my blog posts ready at the start of the week, but I’ve been so distracted I haven’t done it and then suddenly realised that it was already the weekend, so sorry about the lack of posts again there.
So, rather than panic rush a post, I thought I’d do a little catch up post from the last few weeks similar to my original Lock Down Diaries.
Watching
I watched a few films that I’ve mentioned before over the last couple of weeks, but also added This is Where I Leave You to my list, which was a cute little film.
Then, I got completely addicted to docu-series’ on Netflix, in particular Unsolved Mysteries. I loved watching them, but the fact that they’re still unsolved at the end of the episode is painful. So after those I watched Cold Case Files. And if you haven’t watched it yet, Surviving R Kelly is a fascinating watch.
Eating/Drinking
Now that places are starting to open up again I’ve been able to eat out a couple of times, which has been a nice change. I went to Prezzo last night and had a great spaghetti bolognese, and then while we were on a walk one evening we stopped at a pub for fish and chips, which was also great.
I’ve also been to bars and pubs a few times since they reopened, which has been strange now they’re all updated for the Covid changes. The day they opened a few of us went to a local countryside pub, where I drank far too much, and had a terrible hangover the next day. Then, I went to a new craft ale and gin bar that’s opened in my town, which had a lovely rustic feel to it.
Doing
Walking, and lot’s of. I bought myself a sports watch from Amazon, mainly to count my steps and encourage me to do a bit of exercise every now and then. I’ve got it set to 10,000 steps at the moment, and even that’s a challenge some days.
And then the other thing I’ve been doing – making face masks, of course!
