A Week of Gift Guides: Day Five, Fashion Lovers

I’m always in awe of fashion-forward thinkers, and the challenge they present when trying to buy them a gift. Get it wrong and it’s either something they’ll love to challenge themselves to style, or they’ll think you have no idea. Get it right, and they’ll think you’re one of them – a fashionista. But have no fear when entering these territories, today’s Giftmas Guide focuses on style and fashion gifts.

My personal style wish for this year is the good ol’ beret, like this Accessorize Mustard Beret, or this Oliver Bonas Orange Felt Beret. For your friends who are interested in the history and background of fashion, Don’t Touch My Hair by Emma Dabiri focuses on the history of black hair styling. It’s Christmas, and it wouldn’t be complete without the gift of pyjamas, and this Drive Me Wild Tiger set is stunning – and speaking of musts for Christmas, how about this Stringer Edit Christmas Jumper. For a gift a little more understated try a cute brooch like this Wild Fox Badge, or a pair of jazzy earring like these Snake Earrings. Fashion lovers love home fashion too, so treat them to a print. There’s no end of these to choose from, some of my favourites being from The Artezen, like this Boho Silhouette or this Abstract Print. For the beauty side of things, I love the NARs Voyageur Eyeshadow Palette which can help bring some Christmas sparkle to their look.

Other treats you can gift to your fashionista’s…

  • George and Viv Handcream – the packaging this hand cream comes in is enough to excited anyone at Christmas, pick this up from Anthropologie.

  • Leopard Love Glasses Case – a fashion accessory with a practical purpose. Give them a stylish case to keep their glasses or sunglasses in.

  • Ganni Scrunchie – this is a great top-up gift if you’re feeling slightly short on your budget with your gift so far. This is just one of many options available in the scrunchie department.

  • Red Polka Dot Scrunchie – or this scrunchie from ASOS that’s on the puffy and would add to any slick backed pony tail.

  • Monki Scrunchie – one last scrunchie on the list, but I couldn’t leave this naughty pair off the list.

  • Dusty Pink Scarf – this is my go-to scarf for this year, and it’s a great addition to any fashion gift set.

  • Twist Headband – Take the headband a step further with a larger one with added silk. This one isn’t currently available, but it’s still great for inspiration.

  • Lucy and Yak Yoga Mat – give your fashion friend the gift of being the most fashionable one in their yoga class with this exercise mat.
