Even though Secret Santas are a little on the downlow this year, what with working from home being a big thing for a lot of us, but just in case you’re one of the lucky – or unlucky, depending on how you feel about it – ones who’s still partaking this year, today’s Giftmas Guide is for you. I’m going into with the assumption that there’s a spending limit, ours was always £10, so all the gifts will be aimed around that sort of price.

Usually the easiest gifts to do include chocolate, whether you want to spend the whole budget on a gift box like these Willie’s Dark Chocolate Praline Truffles, or would rather use chocolate to top up the budget, like this Assorted Chocolate Gift Box or a Malmo Tangy Raspberry Bar. While we’re on the lines of chocolate you can also get personalised treat, like a Personalised Chocolate Orange, or Personalised Biscuits – and there’s also the option of going for edible humour, like a Chocolate Toilet Roll. If drink is a safer option, try this very Christmassy Christmas Mulled Wine Gift Box, or add some shimmer to their present with some Oliver Bonas Raspberry Prosecco Shimmer. If you think they’ll be more interested in something along the lines of pampering, Honeystreet Bath Bombs are a great option. With this route as well, there’s some great pre-put together gift boxes for if you don’t have the time or patience to make one yourself. The Body Shop have some great options, like this Christmas Bauble Gift Set. For your everyday cat lover, add this Catastrophe Cat Stacking Game to their gift. And finally, why gift just socks when you can give them these Oliver Bonas Confetti Sheer Ankle Socks – beats me!

For more Secret Santa goodies, try these…

  • Cats in Hats Colouring Book – a little twist on a colouring book that’s perfect for any colouring or cat fan. Or someone who just deserves something a little quirky.

  • French Bulldog Jigsaw Puzzle – a quirky gift that’ll look good when it’s done, and while it’s in the box on their shelf. It’s double sided too, so double the fun.

  • George and Viv Christmas Soap – a gift that’s gives so much Christmas-vibe you don’t have to wrap it – there’s so many designs to choose from too.

  • Londji Creativity – a twist on the normal colouring or activity book, a must-have gift for any recipient who’s into their art.

  • Mini Marshmallow Kit – this is such a cute idea, and adds something a little different to their gift.

Bonus: A little idea for if you are working from home, or if the budget for everyone is a little conservative after the year we’ve had – why not make your secret Santa a card-based secret Santa. It’s not quite as exciting, but it means everyone has to choose a Christmas card and post it for the recipient. You can use a Secret Santa website or spreadsheet for everyone to put their addresses on, and then you won’t have to awkwardly ask people for their details.

xx
