I’m in a bit of a limbo stage of life at the moment. I’m currently in the process of saving up to move out and get my own place, so I’m at the point where I’m obsessed with decorating my room with a full house-worth of ideas to squeeze into it. No, I can’t invest in big things like a sofa or a coffee table, but I can spend my money on little things that are easy to store away until I make the big move.
When Photowall got in touch to look at collaborating with me I was delighted. At the moment I’m always looking out for posters, postcards, and anything I can put in a frame, ready for my future home, so it was the perfect idea for me. Photowall offers an amazing choice of wallpaper, murals, and posters, so they’re the perfect place to look if you’re looking to decorate a whole room, or just looking to jazz up a wall a little.
For this collaboration I went for a poster – I’d love to have one of their wallpapers, but I wouldn’t be able to take that with me when I move out, so a poster was the best option for me at the moment. I ended up with almost twenty possible options in my wishlist before I settled on this Resting Tigress poster.
First off, the delivery was great. I placed my order at the start of the week, and the poster had arrived by Thursday – in fact it took me longer to decide which one I wanted and where to put it in my room than it did to actually arrive.
Secondly, once the poster arrives there is self-assembly required, but this is really easy to do. Photowall give you all the equipment you need, including a wooden frame for the top and bottom of the print, the string to hang it up with, the nail to hang it from, and an allen key. You can also look at the instructions they give you for assembling the hanging on their website, which are really clear and simple to follow.
And finally, the quality of the poster is great. The material that the image is printed on is sturdy, and the image itself is as clear as it looks on the website, so no disappointment there.
As far as my moving out poster collection goes, this is definitely a great start, and you can also get 25% off of a purchase with Photowall until 20th June 2020. To do this, just use the code katygoodship25, and you’ll get your 25% off. You can find their website using this link. Let me know what you go for!
