A week or so ago I did a post on 30 Acts of Kindness During Isolation, but if you’re giving out all that kindness it’s about time to give some back to yourself as well. It’s so easy to get swept up in trying to be busy and make the most of the isolation time, and sacrifice yourself a little, but take a little bit of time each day to do something for yourself and you’ll do well. Here’s a few of my ways of showing yourself kindness during these strange times.
1. Surround yourself with #positivitypostcards
2. Take a day off (from doing nothing)
3. Use your daily outside allowance
4. Have a soak in the bath
5. Tidy up your space
6. Have a pamper night
7. Light a candle
8. Treat yourself to a Birchbox
9. Buy yourself flowers
10. Have a movie night
11. Make yourself a hot chocolate
12. Make a positivity playlist
13. Put your memberships on hold (and spend the savings when we’re out and about again)
14. Do an at-home workout
15. Meditate
16. Talk to someone
17. Do an online course
18. Cook a treat dinner
19. Indulge in some ice-cream
20. Give your pet(s) a big hug
