In case you didn’t know, it was my birthday in May – hence why I’ve been so busy! But more about that another day. I turned twenty-nine, a pretty scary age, because it means next time I announce my birthday I’ll be thirty. No more twenties – scary! And I was sat in the sun thinking generally about things, and I suddenly remembered that years ago I’d written a ‘thirty before thirty’ list. And I thought maybe it was time to take another look at that…
It goes without saying that this year may have put a bit of a dampener on things, and may have slightly delayed any plans. So, rather than do another review of my original list, I wanted to write less of a ‘Thirty before Thirty’ list, and more of a ‘Thirty Last Things Before Thirty’. So, more like the thirty things I haven’t yet done that I want to do before my twenties are up.
At the end of this post I will do a little review of my original thirty before thirty list, and we can all have a laugh at how outrageous and unrealistic it was! Enjoy, and let me know what your things before thirty are/were.

I find it nice that you kept your pre -thirties to do list and you actually revise it.
To be honest I never make that kind of lists. It does not mean that I don’t have goals or ambitions.
It is that when you are 20 you can imagine only what your 20 year old self wants and needs. Even at your 21 you might want and need different things.
I am more of a person that would look back every year and check what new have I accomplished this year. Was it enough or need something more?
I enjoyed your post 🙂

Thank you 🙂 I agree – when I wrote the first post I was not thinking logically at all, and do almost wish I’d just focused on the coming year or something. Now I’m on my year-lead up to 30 I feel much more realistic about it, and my goal-setting!
Happy very belated birthday! I love reading lists like this! I chuckled at completing Tomb Rider, I can still remember the afternoons spent in front of it and never finishing it! Hope you can achieve all your goals and more x

Thank you 🙂 I know, I really had no idea, ha! Still one of the things I haven’t done, but can’t even play it anymore because I left my playstation at home when I moved out! Who’d have known!
Great post! It’s always amazing to set goals. As someone who is now on a 40 before 40 bucket list, all I would say is don’t set too much emphasis on the age. If you don’t reach it by 30, you’ve got decades left to complete it! You’re never too old to chase your dreams! Some awesome plans on here though! Good luck xoxo

Thank you – that’s something I definitely started realising when I wrote this. When I wrote my first 30 before 30, when I was in my early twenties, I was so unrealistic with how much I wanted to squeeze in to ten years!
