I can’t believe it’s time already for the February favourites post, but here we are. It feels like I was only writing the post for January last week.
When it’s a short month and not a lot seems to happen it can be really hard to pull together enough things for a favourites post. This was one of those months. I’ve gathered together enough things to share for this month, and I hope you find something from them that you love too! Let me know what your favourites were for this month in the comments.
0.1 Pink Hair
And hair care in general, which is always something I’m a bit slack on. I’ve always been really lucky with very lenient hair, but when the third lockdown hit and I couldn’t make it to the hairdressers, it started to turn against me. So, I chopped a load off, and started giving it a bit more love, like using the Jerome Russell BStyled Blow Dry Balm. In the meantime, I added a pink dye to it – I know, defeats the purpose, but it’s so cute. And when else will I be able to dye my hair pink and not have to worry! I used the Bleach London in Rose for mine.
0.2 Bridgerton
Late to the party again, as usual, but I’m midway through currently and still loving it. I usually don’t like period pieces, but this one has captured my attention in particular. Maybe because it’s a modern take on it, but maybe more because I recognise a lot of Bath in it, which is where I spend (or used to spend) most of my time. Also… Rege-Jean Page as The Duke… Need I say more…
0.3 Everything Valentines
My first Valentines as a non-single person, and I feel like I milked it a little. But, I absolutely loved coming up with ways to celebrate it and things to do, and made my biggest ever Gift Guide. I won’t be taking my Valentine’s Day posts down, so check them out here…
His and Hers Cocktail Recipes…
A Love Themed Happy Weekend Post…
0.4 Shorty Pyjamas
Up until now I’ve been wrapping up warm, even at bedtime. But the first thing to come in is the shorts for pyjama. I feel so much better when I make the change to shorts – simple, but pleasing. Spring and Summer is on the way people!
0.5 Real Housewives of New Jersey
Name a week when something Real Housewives isn’t on my favourites list. Last month it was pre-ordering Margaret Josephs upcoming book, this month it’s just the whole series. New Jersey is by far my favourite of all the franchises, and this month they had a new series being released. One episode a week isn’t enough – but luckily I’m still working on an old Atlanta, so I’m sure I’ll get by!
0.6 Blogging
In general, I’ve been loving the blogging life this month. And it’s paid off. Any big-time bloggers reading this might think this isn’t much of an achievement, but for the first time ever my blog hit 1,000 page views by the end of the month. And my blog also turned six this month, so it’s been a big month on the blogging front.
What a lovely favourites post! I loved Bridgerton and you’re so right about short style pjs, I love them x

Love that, B&B! Luckily the pink doesn’t last long, so it’s not so bad if you regret it, haha
RHONJ is my faaave. I swear, I’ve got an addiction. I blasted through the last season in a few days and now I NEED to see the new season like yesterday. Melissa is my fave housewife, I love her!

I do too! I love Teresa, even though she’s always saying the wrong thing, ha! I’m working through Atlanta at the moment, and enjoying that one a lot as well!
Congratulations on hitting the 1000 views it’s always an exciting time when you reach a goal! I really love bleach dyes, that washed up mermaid is truly calling me! Thank you for sharing x

Thank you! I know, and they don’t seem to damage your hair too much either, which is a bonus if it’s true!
Oh now I want pink hair!! I did it last summer and loved it but it has been a bit stubborn and I think if I see my hairdresser in April and have any pink in it she might kill me!
February does always fly by, blink and you miss it. Here is to a fun filled (hopefully) March! And well done on the blog views, thats great news x

I love it! I did bump into my hairdresser the other day, and I felt awful for the state of my hair, ha! Thank you!
I’m actually going to the salon soon to have my hair bleached so that I can put fun colors in it – pink and blue are top of my list. I’ve never gone wild that way, but I figure now’s the time! I haven’t seen Brigerton yet but it’s on my list of things to watch.

Love that – I was told that pink washes out easy, and blues and greens stain your hair. I did dye my hair green for a party once and it did stain. But I love purple and pinks!
I loved reading about all your February favourites Katy, I hope you have a marvellous March! x

Thank you, hope your March is great too! 🙂
Congrats on reaching 1000 views, I was just short of reaching that in February. It will have to get a bit warmer before I start wearing the short pajamas!
